Ten Fu A.P.E.C. (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation) 2001 High Mountain Oolong Tea was one of the A.P.E.C. conference commemorative gifts in the year 2001, which took place in Shanghai, China. This tea was presented to twenty-one world leaders and other conference participants. This tea is now available to you fresh from a current harvest picked with the same high quality and care as from 2001 and in the same commemorative packaging. High Mountain Oolong tea is a lightly fermented tea. This high quality tea is harvested from Ten Fu's Liang-Fon estate located 800 meters above sea level. At this elevation, the tea grows in the best soil and climate conditions. The appearance of High Mountain Oolong tea is bright green and tightly hand rolled. The tea soup is sweet and fragrant with a sweet lingering aftertaste. Serving Directions: The water used to steep this tea should be about 185-195?XF or 85-90 degrees (C). Use about 2 teaspoons (3 grams) of tea leaves for about every 5 ounces (150 milliliters) of water. A steeping time of about 5 minutes is recommended with more or less time depending on the desired concentration. As a rough guide, the higher the temperature of the water or the greater the amount of leaves used, the shorter the steeping time should be. When brewed, it produces a light yellow hue, a strong smooth floral taste, a fresh scent, and a pleasant lasting aftertaste. Grade: Premium. (Highest) Packaged in air-tight foil pouch for highest quality of freshness. Tea pouch contains loose tea leaves weighing approximately 8.8 oz (250g). Contents: 1 bag/can
